Form of immortality

Newscasts hardly ever find place for events in the lives of everyday people, yet these events are indeed extremely interesting.  After all, no visiting photograph can spend months shooting a photo-story in your country; only we are the witnesses to everyday situations that could make extraordinary pictures.  Afterwards, in the course of time, they will serve as trademarks of our present way of living.  Similarly to wine, photography either “goes sour” with time or becomes “vintage”.  I perceive photography as one of the forms of immortality.
