Expeditions usually involve 10-12 journalists from leading print and online publications, news agencies, and television channels. Having familiarized themselves with the lifestyle of the local population, they subsequently tell the audience of their media about the everyday life and problems of ethnic minorities in different regions, about the hopes of peoples that speak another language and adhere to different traditions, despite the fact that they are citizens of Georgia.

Expeditions become a channel of communication between the multinational society of Georgia with various ethnic groups, which helps people to get to know each other better, to overcome the sense of alienation often caused by insufficient information about each other.
